What does the Student Council do?
The Student Council is your student "union" where you have the right to express your thoughts on your school, the teachings, the social arena, the food, the ...everything to do with school and your learning.
Together with the teachers, management and the other groups in school, like the PTA and here4u, we strive to make your every day the way you need it to be.
The council meets once a month to talk about things that you have brought forward to the council. Therefore it is really important that your class has a class council at least twice a month, where you can bring stuff up to your class representatives, and for them to bring information back to your class.
The Student Council is divided into committees, which are meeting as often as twice a week if they have some important things to discuss or organise. The different committees can also work together if they have some large projects going on.
The Student Council is not run by the school, but by a board of trustees, which will also meet once a month.
